Whoever

<<anyone>>

It is comforting that this word is all-inclusive, encompassing, with no restrictions or limitations to anyone at all, regardless of gender, status or position. God doesn’t have favourites – if we choose to meet His conditions we experience His best, conversely if we fail to meet those requirements we are not exempt from the consequences. From the choices available, there is always an outcome.

Here are a few scriptures that highlight the truth that He is always consistent and fair in His dealings with humanity (Heb 13:8):

“He who conceals his sin does not prosper, but whoever confesses and turns from them finds mercy” (Prov 28:13).

“Anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it” (Mt 10:38,39).

Whoever comes to Jesus He will never drive away (Jn 6:37). With the offer of salvation open to all, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life…Whoever in Him is not condemned,

 Whoever can include you?

but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son…Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him” (Jn 1:12, 3:16,18,36).

The Kingdom of God is both inclusive and exclusive. It includes all, anyone who trusts in Christ for salvation, yet also exclusive with only those knowing Jesus as Saviour being admitted to heaven (Mt 7:21-23; Rev 22:17).
