What If...

Many people question the reliability of the Bible, do not believe in God, that there is eternal judgement for wrong, or that Jesus is the only Saviour.

How have I responded to these ‘what if’s?

However, what if the Bible is true, that God is real, Jesus is the only way to heaven and there is a coming Day of Judgment, with eternity to be faced – either in hell (without Christ) or heaven (with Him) – on account of one’s attitude to the ‘Ruler of All Things’. 

If these and various other beliefs are true and a person has become a real believer, what will they lose? Nothing. What will they gain? An abundant, everlasting life in heaven with God and all those that have made this same choice. Why don’t people see the options clearly and make the only logical

Is there a ‘what if…’ that troubles you? What will you do to deal with it?

choice – to become Christians? We determine our destination by either rejecting the fact that we are sinners and need a Saviour, or acknowledging we are sinners and the sacrifice of Jesus is our only means of reaching heaven. This is the ultimate decision and the eternal consequences are enormous. Other ‘what if’ questions we would do well to ask are: what if I surrender my all to Him? What if I was always living obedient to His voice? What if I was continually filled with the Holy Spirit? What if I rejoiced in all situations? What if I only spoke good positive words? What if He had answered some of the prayers I had prayed? What if I died today, would I be headed to heaven or eternal damnation? What if I challenge my fears with the true facts? What if I step outside my comfort zone?
