Simon
Simon Peter was the most outspoken and best known of Jesus’ 12 disciples.
Several other men had this name, including another of the 12 disciples known as Simon the Zealot (Mt 10:4); a half-brother of Jesus (Mk 6:3); and a person who tried to buy the Holy Spirit’s power (Act 8:9,18-24).
