Hermon, Mt

A 2814 m high mountain, also called Mt Sion, located in the Golan Heights (Deut 4:48).  This is not to be confused with Mt Zion, in Jerusalem.  Normally snow covers its top all year and the snowmelt forms a major source of the Jordan River.
