Earthquake

Various accounts of earthquakes happening at strategic times are recorded in the Bible (Ex 19:17,18; Num 16:28-34; 1 Sam 14:15; 1 Kgs 19:11,12; Mt 27:51, 28:2; Act 16:25-31).

“The whole earth has been groaning as in the pains of child birth…” and “…earthquakes in various places” are one of the signs of the end of the age (Mt 24:7; Rom 8:22). Scientific data indicates earthquakes are happening with increased frequency. Even though many of these tremors cause much destruction and loss of life they will pale into insignificance compared to what is coming on the earth in the end times (Rev 6:10-17, 16:18-20).
